Dear Benefits Leaders,

As Calibrate's Chief Medical Officer, I'm delighted to share our clinical vision with you, built on personalized, integrated care and coaching with rigorous medical oversight.

It's a model with over five years of strong clinical outcomes behind it, and one we continue to sharpen through evolving care pathways, a robust GLP-1 stewardship and cost management framework, and a proven, clear path to continue to scale.

What drew me to the company was the evidence behind this vision: I was struck by Calibrate’s exceptional data on weight loss and cardiometabolic biomarker improvements, results so powerful that they have the potential to shift how we may envision obesity care models of the future.

As a practicing physician, I’ve personally witnessed that weight loss can be a complex process, and everyone’s “why” and personal journey is so unique. GLP-1 medications can be transformative where appropriate, and Calibrate’s purpose-built, integrated approach recognizes this fully.

We also recognize that without structured physician oversight and comprehensive, longitudinal behavior change management, pharmacy trends can outpace clinical value. Calibrate’s program was therefore designed to strike a balance between access, clinical efficacy, and medication stewardship to protect both member health and sustainability for employers.

Obesity and associated metabolic disease remain among the largest drivers of reduced employee well-being, productivity loss, and ever-increasing healthcare costs. Calibrate has built a model that evolves with the rapidly changing GLP-1 space, without changing our clinical core.

I’m committed to ensuring that we continue to be stronger, sharper, and fully prepared to meet the evolving needs of members and our partners. The science is sound, the model is proven, and the opportunity in front of us is deeply compelling. I couldn't be more proud to lead our clinical mission forward.

Sincerely,

Linda Anegawa, MD, MS, FACP, DABOM
